While a second year art student at Goldsmiths, London in 1988, organised now legendary Freeze exhibition which launched a number of artistic careers, although not at first his own. In 1991 first butterfly painting exhibition, In and Out of Love. In 1996 first exhibition at Gagosian Gallery, New York. Successful combination of good attitude and titanic stature. Definitive publication remains I want to spend the rest of my life everywhere with everyone one to one always forever now, published by Booth-Clibborn Editions in 1997.

Damien Hirst lives with his family in the English countryside.
